The S.P.I.R.I.T. Membership Roster is currently FULL and we are NOT accepting new members at this time.
Interested individuals are encouraged and welcome to pre-apply and partially complete our membership requirements (noted below). Applications will be recorded upon receipt and processed in the order in which they were received.  Please note that your application will be held until such time that membership acceptance has reopened. SPIRIT graciously accepts eager, intelligent and realistic candidates. A perspective SPIRIT applicant should be someone who is willing to dedicate their time, effort and resources into the organization so that we can better serve the general public.  SPIRIT is seeking qualitative, not quantitative members. An ideal candidate should also be someone who takes the initiative to write research papers on a topic of the paranormal or seek case files for SPIRIT to investigate. Not everyone will be accepted for membership or you may decide that we aren’t the group for you.

 "Good Energy" promotes “Good Results” in all of our investigations, experiments and activities; therefore, it is important to ensure that we are a “good fit” with one another.

What we are not looking for:  

  • People who “want to see a ghost” or be a “ghost hunter”.
  • Immature people who do not take direction well.
  • People who think all paranormal activity must be the result of/caused by something “evil,” “God,” or “insert preconceived notion here,” or any direct reflection of objectivity.
 If you are serious about becoming a researcher / investigator with our organization and you feel you meet SPIRIT's qualifications, please complete the application and necessary paperwork required to join us.

Below are the basic requirements for being a member of the group.

  1. Must be 18 or over.
  2. No criminal background.
  3. No history of mental problems.
  4. Have a job, or a steady source of income.
  5. Not on any medication that may cause hallucinations or impair judgment.
  6. Must be honest.
  7. Must abide by the SPIRIT Standards and Protocols
The SPIRIT Membership Application Process consists of Ten Steps. These steps will be outlined in the Membership Packet you will receive.

Why Join SPIRIT? Because we are a team of dedicated Researchers and Investigators who seek to find answers. By joining our team you will meet a diverse group of people who have a similar interest. We are made up of a variety of team members and each person contributes something unique to the group. Our members are truly dedicated to the group and they all work very hard. Some of the characteristics we look for when we add new members to our team are patience and dedication. Patience is a virtue of a good investigator and dedication is the foundation of any good investigator. We expect our new members to be dedicated to their work with S.P.I.R.I.T. and to always follow all of our standards and policies.
