Our Team Members
We place a high importance on education and training both in and out of the paranormal field of research. Before being accepted as a Researcher, our
members must complete a prerequisite training course. Some training will be provided "hands on" during investigations; however, most of the training SPIRIT team members receive is conducted at official SPIRIT team meetings. Our training curriculum will be continually expanding to cover additional topics and information.
We always encourage team members to seek external methods of training, knowledge gain, and continuing education. There are several reputable institutions, forums, and courses available for those who wish to participate.
We do not require our team members take a certification course in paranormal investigation, although some teams do. This is completely up to each individual SPIRIT member. Team members that do choose to further their education in the paranormal are applauded and recognized, and their accomplishments are shown here.
Our Clients and the General Public
We always try to arm the people who seek our assistance with as much knowledge as possible. Knowledge is indeed power. Throughout the entire investigative process, beginning with the initial client contact, and all the way through to the very last finding and beyond, the client will emerge from their situation stronger and with the necessary knowledge to help themselves more than they were willing or able to at the start of their journey with us. Yet we will continue to be available to them if the need arises, or if more concerns should need to be addressed.
SPIRIT offers local Paranormal Seminars that clients, or anyone interested in the paranormal are encouraged to attend. Advanced notice of these events will be listed on our Events page. All proceeds from admissions go directly to SPIRIT to fund our research efforts. Seminar topics range from 'Paranormal 101' to 'Superstition A to Z' and we try to encompass all of the topics in between. If you would like to see a particular topic addressed in one of our seminars, please contact us here.
