S.P.I.R.I.T. is a Sarasota based non-profit paranormal investigative group dedicated to helping people understand what they may be experiencing, and to help them deal with situations through education, science, technology, research and good, and old-fashioned deductive reasoning. Through our methodology, we can identify problems or causes that may be assumed as paranormal that really are not. Many feelings and occurrences that might otherwise be left unexplainable can be resolved. Many people misunderstand what they have experienced and are afraid to discuss it or examine it further. Identifying these occurrences and feelings, documenting cases and researching the situations can solve many dilemmas or otherwise properly identify true paranormal activity.
Individuals who believe they are experiencing paranormal phenomena want answers.
S.P.I.R.I.T. can help discover those answers. Our basic mission is to document, collect and analyze scientific, environmental and corroborated data surrounding reported paranormal phenomena. We are not "Ghost Hunters" or "Ghost Busters" or anything of that nature. We do not cleanse or exorcise the location.
Our team is comprised of individuals who have a personal interest in the field of the paranormal and employ the talents of both experienced believers and firm skeptics and everything in between to better analyze the evidence collected. Using high-tech and low-tech detection equipment, audio and video recording devices and human sensitivity, S.P.I.R.I.T. can determine if the evidence may be paranormal when all rational or scientific possibilities have been ruled out. S.P.I.R.I.T. is professional, courteous, discreet and understanding. We have formed many alliances within the paranormal, medical, psychological and scientific industries, and are constantly continuing to seek the truth about the paranormal.
Investigative time and services are always free of charge to clients in need. S.P.I.R.I.T. is open-minded and all investigations are treated in a professional manner, with respect and confidentiality to all persons involved. Our goal is to gather and collect data that will lead to a better understanding of the paranormal. In the process, we also wish to aid any individual having problems dealing with a situation. We hope to do this by educating clients as to the possible true nature of the situation; giving them information to help them understand, and therefore creating a livable resolution for all involved.
